Gilbert Gottfried and Scott Land-Episode 120

Gilbert Gottfried and Scott Land-Episode 120

Gilbert Gottfried sits down with Matt Bailey in person! The hysterically edgy comedian and voice actors discusses highlights from his career, as well as life in New York City. Gottfried is joined by Scott Land, marionette performer to the stars. Land, in town to perform at a fundraiser as a favor to Gilbert, offers his perspective on edgy comedy. Amongst a lot of laughs, the trio discuss how soon is too soon when it comes to joking about tragedy. Plus, you’ll also hear about the time Gilbert Gottfried was (finally) invited to see Aladdin on Broadway! Iago, Team America, Monsters and more, only on our very special episode with Gilbert Gottfried and Scott Land!

Special Thanks: Lisa Land, Hersh Ellis, Dara Kravitz

112 Aladdin Journeys to the Stars

112 Aladdin Journeys to the Stars

Welcome back to the Neverland Podcast!
It took over a month, but CD Baby finally delivered on my purchase of Tom Ameen’s Journey to the Stars! I’ve taken a few listens to this album and I now present to you my review of this latest work from pianist Tom Ameen.
It’s time for another trip to the Neverland Trailer Park to take a quick look at DC’s Suicide Squad. There is some buzz behind this movie, but is it enough to get me excited?
And finally, Lost Boy Eric will take us into the Hyperion Theater for a viewing of Aladdin, The Musical Spectacular. This show closed forever on January 10, but the memories of those that viewed it will live on forever. I hope this last listen brings back all the fun you have had viewing the show, or hearing it on other podcasts.
Oh, and it looks like I lost a bet….so enjoy my humiliation.
