The existence of a patent, discovered by GameChup, doesn’t necessarily mean that this is a thing that will happen and be sold. Justice League Troubles To Prompt Batman Reboot?

Recent reports pointing to serious troubles hitting Warner’s plans for a Justice League mega-movie seem to have primed the rumor mill pumps. In this case, fan site, Batman On Film is claiming that a possible delay for the beleaguered superhero team-up could lead to a reboot of the Batman movie franchise hitting beforehand.

Of course, this theory should be treated as rumor-iffic as speculative rumors such as this one gets. According to BOF, an unnamed source of theirs close to the behind-the-scenes dealings strongly believes that the alleged troubles with the Justice League script by Will Beall and its apparent scrapping have sent shockwaves of doubt throughout Warner’s superhero movie circle. Rumor of the Day: A Man of Steel hit could delay the Batman reboot

Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel is DC’s next big tentpole, and with Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knighttrilogy over, it has a lot of pressure to do gangbusters at the box office. But if the new version ofSuperman is a massive hit, could it delay a new Batman film until almost 2020? More

Why WORLD’S FINEST Should Be The Next DC Comics Movie

This week, a new rumor concerning Warner Bros.’ Justice League movie suggested that screenwriter Will Beall’s for the DC Comics superhero ensemble was so terrible that it was scrapped, and the studio wasn’t even sure about moving forward with the project. The idea of hiring a new writer after the disappointing response to Gangster Squad certainly isn’t surprising. This, plus the lack of a director and the decision to wait and see how Man Of Steeldoes this summer before giving a green light, makes the previously reported 2015 release very unlikely. Many fans have expressed desires to see other DC characters, such as Wonder Woman and The Flash, get their own movies before Justice League, and with the film probably being delayed, it’s possible to squeeze in at least one more moviebefore answering Marvel’s The Avengers. My personal pick? None other than a World’s Finest Batman/Superman team-up film.  More

Star Wars: The Old Republic drops patch 1.7 on Tuesday

It’s almost time to see what you can do about your reputation in Star Wars: The Old RepublicPatch 1.7is bringing the new reputation system as well as the new Relics of the Gree event to the live servers on Tuesday, February 12th. The maintenance window for the patch is five and a half hours, although as with most major patches, there’s always the chance that it’ll run a little longer because of unforeseen issues.

If you’ve still got more questions about what the reputation system will add to the game, a recent development blog answers those questions. Notably, this patch has not been up for testing on the test server, possibly to keep the event a bit more of a secret. Whatever the case, players will get to put their hands on the changes in just a couple of days, so get ready to travel across the galaxy and get some props from galactic reputation.

Fans were relieved this week to learn that Lawrence Kasdan would be writing another “Star Wars” movie. It was partly for the fans, Kasdan said, that he decided to return to “Star Wars” — just not the fans you’d expect.
