‘Clone Wars’ still has life in the ‘Star Wars’ universe

Rumor: ‘Star Wars: Reclamation’ Animated Series To Act As ‘Episode 7′ Prequel

Mike here: While I feel the article below is worth posting, IT IS ALL RUMOUR AND SPECULATION. Lucasfilm has already stated this is fake but in my mind it is still valued a look. Until offically announced by Disney/Lucasfilm, THIS IS PURE SPECULATION!

Despite the mounting excitement for the continuation of the Star Wars saga – set to be kicked off with Star Wars: Episode VII in 2015 – the past few months have been filled with disappointment for fans of Lucasfilm’s animated offerings. Just one month after Star Wars: The Clone Wars was going to be cancelled to make way for a different kind of animated programming, we may now know what that successor will be.

Reports of an animated series by the name of Star Wars: Reclamation have surfaced online, telling a tale set fifteen years after the end of Return of the Jedi. Sporting a cast of characters both old and new, the (rumored) series would help set the stage for the themes and plot of Episode VII, which is still two years away.

J.J. Abrams Says He Has No Idea What He’s Doing With ‘Star Wars’

With three new “Star Wars” in the works, we’ve heard plenty of casting rumors  — f rom  Carrie Fisher ‘s jokes to the return of Harrison Ford , but we haven’t heard nearly as much about the plot of the film.

That’s probably because director J.J. Abrams isn’t sure what direction the new trilogy is taking just yet.    More

No Decision Yet on Reuniting ‘Star Wars’ Cast: Disney CEO

No decision has been made about reuniting the old “Star Wars” cast in the coming sequels, Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger told CNBC’s “Closing Bell” on Tuesday.

“This is one of the biggest franchises ever created so we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to be associated with it and bring it into the future,” Iger said of “Star Wars.” More

I’ve had it with LucasArts. The publisher/developer’s latest head-scratching move, allegedly pumping the brakes on the promising third-person next-gen bounty-hunting action game Star Wars 1313, leaves me to wonder if – or rather, why – the once-proud subsidiary of Lucasfilm has now become a joke that gamers are the butt of. Lucas says Ford, Fisher + Hamill ALREADY in for Star Wars Ep. 7!?

Leave it to George Lucas to clear up all the confusion, and confuse us some more, about Star Wars: Episode VII.

The plot just seems to thicken (and thicken, and thicken). Carrie Fisher seemingly let the cat out of the bag about her return in Star Wars: Episode VII, then back-pedaled claiming it was a “joke.” More
