PodCapers Ep. 38: The Punisher Netflix Series Review (Full Spoilers)

One batch. Two batch. Penny and dime. Marvel and Netflix are back and once again Scott and Mark Russell are teaming up to talk about the first MCU spinoff. Unless…does Agent Carter count? Anyway, they’ll be discussing previous Punisher portrayals, the show’s darker themes, and Ben Barnes pretty, pretty face.

S1 Bonus Episode Part 2: Exploring the Lost “Fear” Episode

S1 Bonus Episode Part 2: Exploring the Lost “Fear” Episode

We delve into our experiences from the Lost Episode, which was the podcast’s take on MTV’s “Fear.” What was initially a silly episode in which we thought nothing would come out of it other than funny stories and maybe an experience or two turned into something darker and scarier. Similar to being stranded on a purgatorial island, we reflect on what happened and why it’s affected us so much. You may be tempted to disbelieve or brush off our experiences but we encourage you to listen with open minds. Also, be sure to ask for the haunted Ouija board (we all don’t want anything to do with it ever again).

                Welcome to the Neverland Podcast!

This is it, the final episode of Season 4 of The Neverland Podcast!

So what should Lost Boy Eric and I do to celebrate 4 years of Neverland? How about a review of Disney/Pixar’s Coco? We’ll also talk about Olaf’s Frozen Adventure because Eric saw them both at the theater this week.

There was also a great new trailer for Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time so we’ll talk all about it in the Neverland Trailer Park! Then we’ll take a trip to Disneyland and watch the Christmas Fantasy Parade!

What are some of your favorite Holiday specials? This month we’re dedicating some time to talking up a few of our favorites, or in this episode talking up one that might be one of the more infamous specials. That’s right, the Star Wars Holiday Special. You’ll hear Pixie Heather and my first impressions of watching this special right here on The Neverland Podcast.

Grab your pixie and let’s fly to Neverland!

036: Nightmare on Elm Street 7 – Wes Craven’s New Nightmare – The Runaway Franchise Podcast

Wahoooooo it’s Wes Craven’s New Nightmare…the one where they make a movie about making a movie with people from the movie in it and Freddy is in it but he’s Robert Englund but also Freddy. Nancy isn’t Nancy, but she’s the actress who played Nancy (Heather Langenkamp) and her Dad is now her friend. Confused yet? So is Ed. Dom and Tom think he’s a big dummy, but this movie is genuinely confusing. Is this NEW NIGHTMARE a step in the right direction, or a step off a sheer cliff face that falls into infinite meta-ness? Listen and find out!

PodCapers Ep. 37: Justice League Review (Full Spoilers)

It’s finally here! DC’s long awaited Justice League is out in cinemas. And it’s up to Scott and David Molofsky to figure out, was it worth the wait? No. No it was not. From outstandingly bad CGI, rushed/non-existent character development, and a general atmosphere of “meh”, it looks like there’s not much for them to like. Except for Jason Momoa, they like him. Probably a bit too much.
