          Coin Operated 188: 2 Weeks

          2 Weeks

Its been 2 weeks since we have recorded a usable episode. The last one we recorded was from a live stream and it was too much for Brian to edit.

          Horror Night

We talk haunted houses and how Brian did all 9 and Cody only managed 8. Bill and Ted was a let down.

The best house over all was a Original House and so was the worse House.

          California Love

Cody is going to California to run or walk and then get picked up by the cops for going too slow in a Disney Race.  Also Check out DW:60 they seem really cool and talk about Disney World.

          Holiday Matsuri

We will be returning as press to Holiday Matsuri in Orlando Florida. This will be our first time there so we are looking forward to bringing you all the best in Orlando Anime and Holiday fun.

                    Thor: Ragnarok Non-Spoiler Review!

                    Thor: Ragnarok Non-Spoiler Review!

                    Written by Jason Brigger

                    Director: Taika Waititi
Writers: Eric Pearson and Craig Kyle
Starring: Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett

Standalone Thor films have never really received the love that most other Avengers’ solo films receive and with good reason as the films, up to now, have been either been boring (original Thor) or pretty to watch but ultimately forgettable (Thor: The Dark World). Thor: Ragnarok opens in North America November 3, 2017 and hopes to change that by taking a new approach by using comedy to liven up the forgettable film series.

This time, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) must not only tangle with his mischievous brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston), but also Hela, the God of Death (Cate Blanchett) as she tries to continue what Odin (Anthony Hopkins) stopped her from doing centuries ago, rule the universe. Along the way, Thor must also escape a planet run by the creepy but fun dictator Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum) and recruit a team of heroes looking for purpose and revenge. If this sounds a little like Guardians of the Galaxy, it’s because it is. More

Marvelette Missives – Daughters of the Dragon

In the late 70s, a couple of supporting characters from Iron Fist comics, Misty Knight and Colleen Wing, were given a chance to team up as Daughters of the Dragon in an issue of Marvel Team-Up. Though well received, the duo remained supporting characters, carrying over to the Power Man and Iron Fist series. They didn’t manage to get their own story lines (in Marvel Comics Presents) until the 1990s and their own title didn’t come out until 2006.  More

The gang wonders if the Rolling Stone magazine is pointless and are still impressed with the cosplay at the Expo. Much to Number One Fan Doug’s happiness, the gang discuss Rotten Tomatoes ranking of all Disney Animated films, while Jason still can’t understand the appeal of Beauty and the Beast. After a few weeks off, Brian and Cody catch up with all the out of control fandoms. We start off on 10/29 with the madness of the SNES Classic release. After that it was out to Tampa for MegaCon and beer. Brian enjoyed and reviewed his experience for that weekend including the can’t miss Jay and Silent Bob Get Old.

                                    Fandom Hell

One of the themes we noticed at Megacon Tampa and in general was the amount of Funko Pop and Rick & Morty things everywhere. McDonald’s released the fabled Szechuan Sauce and the Rabid Rick & Morty fans went crazy. They are not a smart fan base.
