Derrick Nadeau {chumleydn(at)gmail dot com} has been a geek starting from an early age thanks to his father, who introduced him to science fiction shows like Star Trek and Doctor Who, and who also took him to science fiction conventions every year during his childhood.  When he was three years old, Star Wars opened in theaters, and Derrick instantly fell in love with it.  As he grew, Derrick would spend his afternoons after school watching anime shows like Starblazers, Robotech, Voltron, and Gai King.  Derrick was heavily influenced by the cartoons and toys of the eighties, and is still a huge fan of the Transformers to this day.  Once he was old enough to read, Derrick began reading comics, and has even had the long standing dream of writing his own comics some day.  Derrick considers himself a minor expert in several geek related topics, and is often the source his friends look too when they have a geek related question.

Bare-knuckle brawler, Victoria Vega {martianvalkyrie(at)gmail dot com}, possesses superhuman strength due to a controversial cellular regeneration experiment from childhood, which left her body resistant to physical injury and extreme temperatures. She is the rumored offspring of Mantis and Silver Surfer, but many claim that the rumor was started by Vega herself in a desperate publicity attempt in 2008. Similar to her 30 Rock heroine, Liz Lemon, Vic Vega’s two favorite things in life are food and Star Wars. She was disappointed to discover that Mike referenced Kitster in his bio before she did; the frustration caused her to hulk-smash an entire planet out of existence. Vic Vega’s terrible rage-mode can only be calmed by cuddling Pembroke Welsh Corgis while simultaneously listening to the Japanese Youtube hit known as Okkusenman.

Andrew Lionheart is a 30 year old Canadian with 2 adorable kids. Between them and a full time job he fills what little free time he has reading comics, novels and watching TV and movies. His favourate comic books include Green Lantern, Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-man, Thor, Invincible and so many many more. Until 1990 Clancy Petersen {pdxgeek777(at)gmail dot com} was earning a meager wage working construction on planet Earth.  Breaking rocks paid the bills, maintained his muscles, and kept his vixen of a wife satisfied.  Yet he dreamed of more.  The Red Planet.  Mars.  Not to mention athletic, sleazy, demure brunettes.  But who has the time when you’ve got five kids to feed?  What harm could come from a memory implant vacation?  A few credits more and he even gets a souvenir.  He probably should have taken his co-workers advice, “Don’t f@&k with your brain pal.  It ain’t worth it”.  So how does it all end?  I’m not one for spoilers, but he gets the girl, kills the bad guys, and saves the entire planet!
